This work is a musical chronicle weaving together the artistic fragments gathered by Aram Lee—one of Korea’s leading daegeum masters—throughout his creative journey from 2008 to the present. Rooted in Korean traditional music while actively embracing global musical idioms, he crafts compositions centered around the daegeum. The work is widely acclaimed for capturing both the universal appeal of contemporary music and the distinctive identity of Korean traditional sound.

An original, multidisciplinary collaborative work created by four artists who were born in Korea, are active globally, and have each cultivated distinct artistic realms. Rooted in Gyeonggi Dodanggut—widely acclaimed as one of the most musically accomplished hereditary shamanic rituals—the piece brings together music, dance, and multimedia in dynamic collaboration.

This traditional music repertoire performance is presented by daegeum master Aram Lee. Centered around Daegeum Sanjo—widely acclaimed for possessing the highest artistry among solo daegeum works—it showcases representative music from various regions of Korea performed on the daegeum and danso.

A new sonic landscape unfolds through pansori!
Pansori-scape is a groundbreaking production born from deep artistic reflection on the intrinsic vocal tones (seongeum) and emotional subtexts (imyeon) of pansori. Selecting signature scenes—the dramatic highlights known as nundaemok—from the five canonical pansori epics, the work recomposes and reimagines the melodies while preserving the core poetic texts. Beyond daring explorations into music and acoustics, it weaves profound inquiries across linguistics and literature into a visionary artistic experience.

<PALETTE> is a creative endeavor where artists, each possessing a distinct tone and hue, exchange themes and ideas to craft entirely new colors. Grounded in deeply personal experiences—lives disrupted by the pandemic, identity as an artist, the grief of losing a loved one, and realms beyond reality—the music touches universal emotions felt by everyone. Through the intimate process of blending these sonic colors, the performance offers empathy, solace, and a quiet light of hope to the audience.

<The House Where Time Stood Still> begins in a cozy countryside house belonging to Hyunjin Lee, the Artistic Director of TALE—a creative group based in Hwaseong City. The repertoire features original compositions and creative tracks inspired by both traditional Korean music (folk songs, Japga, shamanic Gut music, and Requiem) and Western musical traditions. Complemented by the evocative text of Director Aram Lee and the enchanting illustrations of artist Yeji Park, the concert unfolds beautifully, making the audience feel as though they are flipping through the pages of a moving fairy tale book. It offers a deeply touching, nostalgic journey that evokes fond memories of family and childhood days spent playing in a countryside home.

Featuring gayageum, ajaeng, keyboard, and vocals, this lecture concert reimagines nine classical Sino-Korean poems (hansi) from the Silla, Goryeo, and Joseon dynasties into original contemporary songs and instrumental pieces. Through works by notable historical figures—including Choe Chi-won, Jeong Ji-sang, and Hwang Jin-i—the performance illuminates each poet's life and historical era, making classical literary heritage accessible and engaging.
